About
A brighter future together, a sure future with God.
The Coronavirus pandemic has been devastating to many lives and every single economy in the Caribbean. One consequence has been the vast number of people are now studying, working, transacting business, and fellowshipping remotely. This has resulted in more persons than ever being online, and thereby created the glorious opportunity for there to be Caribbean-wide prayer as one. It is as a result of this reality, that iPRAY CARIBBEAN can be considered and attempted.
Vision
To rebuild lives, institutions and economies in the Caribbean based on Divine wisdom and leadership, starting the New Year with new goals and refreshed hearts, souls and minds.

How it began - Andy's Account
About ten years (10 yrs) ago, a Word came to me from the Lord: to have an event where the whole Caribbean could come together for twenty-four hours (24hrs) of prayer and thanksgiving! I consequently wrote a song called “24hrs” based on the Word I received, and it was sung by Sean Daniel. I mentioned the idea to various people around the region. Although it was well received, there simply was not enough support to bring it to fruition.
As they say there is nothing like the right idea arriving at the right time and the right time was that faithful September 19 morning while chatting with Errol Griffith. We had a conversation concerning the impact of Covid-19 on our region, and the dark economic future and the myriad of other challenges it brings. That’s when the Holy Spirit reintroduced the idea of 24 hours of prayer and thanksgiving for our region, to me!
During our conversation, I remember Errol saying that he had a similar idea for Barbados: a “National Day of Prayer”. We both became very excited at the possibility of this idea becoming a reality. With our combined understanding of how the power of prayer through Christ can change the circumstances of our lives for the better, I thank God that Errol was faithful and obedient to take up the mantle and bring this idea to the point where it can now be a reality.
How It Began - Errol's Account
Errol Griffith rose to national prominence in Barbados in October 1995 when it was announced that he was appointed as the youngest ever Vice President of the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA), at age 32.
Errol had become a Christian six months earlier, after twenty years of saying that he did not believe in God and that prayer was “foolishness”. A series of “phenomenal” personal experiences with God in 1996 and ’97 led to Errol resigning from the position on March 01, 1998 to dedicate his life to the full-time “preaching and teaching” to which God had clearly and distinctly called him.
Errol has been involved in a number of national initiatives in Barbados over the years, and is the Founder and People Development Specialist of The Power Of Choice Inc., a people development company with a national, regional and global vision.
“The idea that has evolved into iPRAY CARIBBEAN came on September 19, 2020 while in a conversation with Andy O’Brien from Trinidad. It is exciting to see others not only believe that a Caribbean-wide time of prayer is a good thing, but also do what is necessary for it to become a reality! Having personally experienced the power of God in prayer, I am eagerly looking forward to what God will do when we choose to all come together in prayer on January 30 and 31, 2020. Come let us pray!”

Rev. Dr. Orlando Seale, CBE; Esq.
Our team shares a deep concern for the spiritual health of the Caribbean, as the foundation for the region’s general wellbeing (Ps33:10-12).
How it Began - Rev. Dr. Orlando Seale, CBE; Esq.
Rev. O.D.Seale has been a Born- again believer in Jesus Christ for the past 44 years. Five years after his conversion, he answered the call to the Sacred Ministry and entered the Caribbean Nazarene College to pursue a diploma in Ministerial Studies.
Upon completing the three-year program, he returned to Barbados and commenced his pastoral ministry in the Church of the Nazarene. After completing 15 years as a pastor and national leader, the 37 year old was appointed District Superintendent of the denomination on the island; the youngest person to hold the office in the church’s 94 year history.
After 18 years in this capacity and earning relevant professional and academic qualifications, Dr. Seale obeyed the leading of the Lord in relinquishing the assignment to assume the presidency of his alma mater in Trinidad. He has been president of the University /College for the past 3 1/2 years.
For his service to the church and community, Dr. Seale was honored with the Commander of the British Empire (CBE) designation by Her Majesty the Queen in January, 2018. He credits all of his success to the faithfulness of a prayer-answering God (2 Chronicles 7: 14).To God be the Glory!!!
The Lord has raised up iPRAY CARIBBEAN to mobilize this prayer initiative. Through the Holy Spirit, the idea to have a coordinated prayer initiative was birthed in the heart of Andy O’Brien some ten years ago and Errol Griffith’s on September 19, 2020 while in conversation with Andy. Errol was led to share his burden with me and sought my assistance in bringing this dream to a reality. Once it was confirmed in my spirit after my initial reluctance, the work recommenced. Others have subsequently joined in the process of bringing iPRAY CARIBBEAN to this point of execution. We look forward to many from all across the Caribbean and beyond joining in the time of prayer for the betterment of our region.
